this is what Dawson's hair looks like if you take a comb to it!
When I took D for a trim a few weeks ago, our guy decided to brush it out before cutting it! I got so tickled I had to go sit out in the waiting area for fear that I would make him (D) mad. So when people ask me how I comb that hair, I usually say- I don't! Now you all know why.

Fancy Footwork
Bear with me as I learn to use my great mothers day gift- a flip video camera w/ movie making software.
This is dedicated to Daddy, who missed all of Dawson's games while coaching Owen's team, and to whom all credit is due for any athletic ability that our children might be in possession of.

The Noyes
As a hobby photographer you can imagine my embarrassment when my only sister's mother in law had to request a family picture! I am only partially to blame as a certain someone does not enjoy having his picture taken, but he behaved nicely this time. Maddox was good too. So here is my beautiful sister (really , isn't she?) and her sweet family.

In honor of Earth day...
a plug for Recycled Art Co.
During our spring break trip to the beach, we wandered a little further down 30A than we normally venture and found a super fun little local art venue. Chad and I each picked out a favorite piece to take back as a souvenir. Even more fun, they were offering a kids craft time later in the week. The boys and I returned later and they had lots of fun making their own beach souvenirs out of recycled license plates. Here are some shots of what we brought home. Click on the link above to check out all of her collection. She can also do custom pieces. I loved the surf board pieces and she told me that she could make me a custom piece with 3 surfboards and the boys names. Maybe I'll save my pennies for the next time we go down!
I chose this one for our garden.
Owen and Dawson made the top and bottom signs and I chose the shark one to hang in their beach themed bathroom.
