My two older boys were speaking quite clearly by their 2nd birthdays, but communicating with Cullen takes a bit of mommy expertise. Here is our conversation this morning:
C: (pointing up the stairs) "Bac!" "Bac!"
Me: "What do you want?"
C: "Bac!"
Me: "you want a book?"
C: "NO, no book! Bac!"
Me: "Boc?, you mean like a chicken?"
C: "chic- ken"
Me: "you want the little people farm?"
C: "yea, (plus something that closely resembles ' little people farm' )"
Walks off satisfied to wait for his toy.
Am I good at this or what? (those of you who have this toy know the sound that it makes when you press on the hay!)
