Number Five!!!

I just found out that I am unoffically #  5 in line for a baby girl and # 7 for siblings.
This would be a good time to do a little explaining. See every month our caseworkers contact us with our official waitlist number. But in between these calls/emails most of us keep up with each other on a listserve graciously set up by our agency. So that is how I know that 2 more referrals have gone out since my last update. It is also how I know that one family ahead of me is waiting for a 12-24 month old, meaning technically there are only THREE families ahead of me waiting on a 0-12 month old. AND out of those 3 families one of them is also on the boys list, meaning boy or girl referral we move up, one of them has parameters of 0-24, which simply means that they have more possibilities available to them, it could be a 2 week old, or it could be an 18 month old. Two of those families are also on the sibling list, which opens up some exciting possibilities for them as well. I'm just saying, there is a lot of room for some serious movement here! My hands are shaking and I have a stomach ache. I'm going to have to figure out how to calm down. It could still be a while before we get the call. I've seen people wait for weeks at the number one spot. Uggg. This is a long time to be in labor. Can I have my drugs now please?! (:
