Almost Seven!

Owen's seventh birthday is less than a month away! (Do you ever quit thinking that you can't believe it?) Since I will be out of the country for 10 of those days I have begun preparations for a Bicycle Birthday party. I decided that I need to cut his hair before I leave ( I can't have him looking like a ragamuffin when I'm not there to fuss over it!) but I wanted some pictures first. The talented Anita took these in her home studio and I love them! He hates to have his picture taken and whined all the way there, so I was impressed with the result. This is him, all of his expressions and his self conscious little first grade self! (I really wanted the shirtless ones and he told me No Way but she talked him into it, what a fun surprise!)

Wow! Such great shots! His hair looks so cute like that! I tried to let Will's grow out some last year...maybe I'll try again this winter.

Owen reminds me of Josh Smith...Ed and Wendy's son.

I got tears in my eyes looking at those. The shirtless ones are too cute. When you moved here he wasn't quite two. Our babies are growing way, way too fast. Now I'm going to go find something else to do so I don't dwell on it...

This kid hates to have his picture made???? He did great and so did the photographer. He looks so old. Can you believe our kids are growing up so fast. I wish I could stop time!
Owen is looking more like Chad. Send me an email about your trip.

I just had the chance to really look at the pictures. They are great. He cooperated nicely for Anita.

Yes, they made me cry, too. She really got Owen and all his personality. What a great job!! He is looking so grown up. I cannot believe it. Isn't that funny, how we want them to grow up, but it makes us so sad at the same time.

Thanks Bets, I really needed to sit here and cry and miss my nephews :) It is completely not possible that O is that big and grownup looking. Love him!
