Wow, how can it be July 1st already? Wasn't it just yesterday that I posted Addi's 9 month portraits? With big brothers home from school all day every day, the summer is flying by! This past month was a big one for Addison too. She started waving and saying "bye- bye" (although if you ask her to do it this week, she will look at you like she has no idea what you are talking about ) , patting her belly on request, attempting to sign all done and more, and finally, one week before her 10 month mark, she took off crawling! She also took her first road trips. 10 days in Knoxville at the beginning of last month, and a long weekend in Nashville for the 4th. At her nine month appointment ( which was actually just one week before her 10 month mark ) she was 21 lbs and registered at 80% for her weight and 90% for her height!
She's earned a new nickname, Sassy pants, for her new big girl personality. She can be very dramatic, turning the tears on and off at will. She swats at her brothers, holds on tight to any item that someone is coming to take away from her and even "talks back" , grunting to momma when she is told "no, no". She is still very social, but is more stingy with her smiles and can stare down any well meaning stranger. Despite her strong will, she remains the object of everyone's adoration, especially her daddy and big brothers. I'm afraid to blink, the first birthday is just around the corner now. ( sniff, sniff )

Just found your blog! What caught my eye was the name Betsy. We adopted a little girl from China about three months ago, and named her Betsy! Your baby is beautiful:)
